Why do we have to die? Why are we on this earth? Why people have to be so violent?
I always wonder and never thought such questions had a real answer from God. But before we can get to know all these answer… where do we come from and who am I?
God let us know that we are made not just of body but also of spirit (Genesis 2:7) and among the two, the most important to God is our spirit because ultimately that’s the one that last forever. But where do we come from? How does our soul become to be part of this world?
In Ecclesiastes 12:7, it says that our spirit returns to God who gave it. When we focus on the word RETURN (which means to go back to a place), we only use it when we go back to a place that we’ve been before. For example: being that I’ve been in Seattle, I can say that I will return to Seattle; on the other hand, I can’t say that I will return to Australia because I’ve never been there.
The words in the bible, is the word of God and every word God has a purpose to saying it. The fact that God said that our spirit will RETURN to God, we come to know that our spirit returns to heaven where God dwells. We are not God but we are heavenly beings that were with God, also known as angels. There are several examples in the bible that confirms this fact.
When we think of Jesus, where did He come from? (John 6:42) Jesus came from heaven and being that He is the perfect example for us Christians, we too came from heaven. The question now is… why are we on this earth? Heaven is the Paradise, is the place that everyone longs to be after departing this earth. If we were already there, why come to this earth?
I’ve come to hear the craziest ideas such as: we have a greater purpose to be here then in heaven… really? Better than being in heaven? Why would God need us to be here? That doesn’t make sense… but while I was in Church of God World Mission Society’s bible study, I was showed that we all have to pay for our penalty that is sin (Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is dead). The wage is a payment, the payment for our sin is death; the fact that someone has to die, that makes him or her a sinner according to the bible. But what kind of sin can we have committed that the penalty is death? Even when we think about our daily lives, we know that we pay things according to its value; for example: if I run a stop sign, I would have to pay a fine of a couple of dollars; if I rob a bank, I would have to pay a fine and a couple of days in prison… but the only occasion in which someone has to pay death penalty is when they have committed the worst crime.

In the same way, God is just! And wouldn’t make us pay for something unjustly… so the fact that we have to pay our sins with death demonstrates that we have committed a gravies sin against God in heaven which is not worthy for us to stay there and now we all have to be in this prison, in Psalm 102:19 says that “The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the PRISONERS and release those condemned to death.” If this earth is the prison, where is freedom? Heaven! Then if this earth is the prison, where did we commit our crime? In heaven! What kind of sin can we have committed that we have to be in prison in a death penalty?
Just like in jail, there are different types of criminals… some more dangerous than others depending on the crime… we too are in this spiritual jail condemned to die for committing a sin by making war against our God; Revelation 12:7-9 “And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels (us) fought back. But he (the dragon) was not strong enough, and they (the dragon and us) lost their place in heaven… He (the dragon) was hurled to the earth, and his angels (us) with him.”
This is the little demonstration of what I was able to learn when I was studying this amazing truth in Church of God World Mission Society… you should know more, specially how can we receive forgives of the gravies sin we committed against God.
I have thought that in some day I will be in heaven for the first time!!
ReplyDeleteBut after stding this, I came to realize that will be the 2nd time, not the 1st!!
Now I am remaining in this earth, but I hope returning to heavenly home again, receiving the forgiveness of my sin through the love of Elohim God!!
God the Father Ahnsahnghong and God the mother has forgiven our sin
ReplyDeleteThanks to Father and Mother!
