PASSOVER, True Meaning 5

In the book of 1Corinthians 11:23-25, Apostle Paul said, " For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you. The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, He broke it and said, This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way after the supper he took the cup saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me". Apostle Paul followed the examples of Jesus Christ even after joining the truth 10 years after Jesus resurrected. Clearly, Apostle Paul celebrated the Passover as Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to do. This is the fulfillment of the 2nd account of the Passover when in the Israelites were in the Desert of Sinai. Once again, prophecy was fulfilled.
The disciples continued to keep the Passover. However, what happend after the 2nd account of teh Israelites keeping the Passover. Did they continue? No. If you recall, God told Joshua to circumcise the Israelites again. Why? The men of military age that came out of Egypt had died because they had disobeyed the Lord. Those born in the desert had not been circumcised which was a necessary regulation to keep the Passover. Therefore, if the males were not circumcised, then this means they were not keeping the Passover, the lasting ordinance. This was also fulfilled in the New Testament.....
